Fifteen thousand members of the National Black MBA Association will come to San Diego for their 27th annual meeting October 11 – 16, 2005. Originally scheduled to be held in New Orleans, the meeting was displaced as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

In the aftermath of this enormous national disaster, our sales staff has fielded calls from numerous destination clients hoping to reschedule meetings that were to have taken place in New Orleans. Our sales team is working with some of these groups in an effort to comfort and to see if we can accommodate their business. In addition, the team is also working closely with our local hotel partners to relocate some of the displaced events.

Our staff will continue to keep those individuals still struggling in the Gulf Coast in our thoughts and prayers, and we hope for a speedy recovery. While there are many ways to offer aid, please consider visiting the American Red Cross website to make a donation.
