An additional 2,000 space parking garage now serves our facility. Located directly to the east of the Center, the $26 million parking facility was built to service convention center attendees and downtown visitors. The new addition is part of a larger plan to connect the Convention Center and San Diego’s PETCO Park. The garage was constructed and is owned by the San Diego Port District.

When added to the 1,900 spaces already existing in the Center’s underground parking garage, there are nearly 4,000 convenient parking spaces within steps of our building giving attendees more parking options. There are 50,000 parking spaces throughout downtown San Diego.
Convention Center personnel participated in the planning process lending operational expertise during the construction phase. Entrance and exit points were carefully designed to ensure accessibility between the convention center and the new garage.
