 San Diego Convention Center attendees can now check their luggage and obtain an airline issued boarding pass inside in the lobby of the Convention Center, avoiding hassles and delays at the airport. This new flight check in service is the result of a partnership between the San Diego Convention Center Corporation and BAGS, Inc. Referred to as “airport check in without the airport,” BAGS is providing a full service, multi-airline, remote skycap operation on property that has been successful in more than 30 locations throughout the nation.
Guests can bypass lines at the airport giving them more time to conduct business, browse the exhibit floor, or just see the city sites before returning home. Anyone flying on airlines affiliated with the BAGS program -- Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, jetBlue or United Airlines-- can use the on-site service.
