The San Diego Convention Center Corporation (SDCCC) is pleased to announce that we have become a Premier Partner with the Professional Convention Management Association. PCMA provides education, resources and networking opportunities for nearly 6,000 meeting management executives and senior-level decision makers in 16 chapters across the U.S. and Canada.
The SDCCC, in a Premier Partner/joint sponsorship with the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau (SDCVB), joins an expanding roster of top meeting industry organizations forming official relationships with PCMA.
As one of the new members of the Partnership Program, the SDCCC is helping to make PCMA’s Masters Series possible and aiding in the growth of the organization’s Leadership Conference. The San Diego Convention Center will also help support meetings industry research by assisting the PCMA Education Foundation in fund-raising activities and by helping to advance PCMA’s continued leadership in networking through opportunities at its annual meeting in Seattle next January.
The Masters Series is an executive-level educational forum that introduces PCMA members to new ideas and best practices that will influence the meetings and conventions industry. The PCMA Masters Series “Discover “The Future of Work” convenes in Washington D.C. on September 4.
“We are both honored and excited to be entering into a Premier Partnership with PCMA,” said SDCCC President and CEO Carol Wallace. “Not only does this relationship take education and leadership to a new level, it further strengthens our sales and marketing efforts and demonstrates why San Diego is the perfect place to “Come for the Convention and Stay for the Vacation.”
