Looking for a quick bite between meetings? How about a leisurely lunch with colleagues or a cocktail?
Attendees won’t have far to go for great food when they’re at the San Diego Convention Center thanks to a new on-site restaurant, Tides, opening in August. From gourmet sandwiches to an upscale carving station to a “top shelf” bar, Tides menu was designed for the most discriminating palettes, as well as convenience. Customized menus are also available.
Hours of operation will be determined by event activity. Convention Center staff will work closely with meeting organizers to accommodate attendees and event needs. |

"We’re always looking for ways to improve services in our building,” said Brad Gessner, general manager at the San Diego Convention Center. “When guests are pressed for time or just want a place to unwind between sessions, Tides is yet another option.”
Named as a tribute to our sparkling waterfront location, Tides will be open for breakfast and lunch. Like all food served at the Convention Center, the menu ingredients are locally grown, organic and include meats from livestock that has been raised humanely without growth hormones, ensuring only the freshest, most delectable ingredients are served.
