Summer Fun on San Diego Bay

ENLARGE MAP
The San Diego Convention Center’s unique and beautiful bayside location makes it the perfect starting point for enjoying San Diego’s many wonderful waterfront activities.

From special event venues for grand celebrations to fun attractions for attendees who have a few extra hours to spend exploring, San Diego has it all.

USS MIDWAY MUSEUM

Located at the Navy Pier in downtown San Diego, this historic ship is the perfect venue for hosting an exclusive gathering. The Midway was the longest-serving aircraft carrier in U.S. Navy history, proudly serving from World War II through Desert Storm. Visitors will find a dynamic, interactive experience designed to offer a taste of life aboard a Navy vessel.

As a meeting and event venue, the Midway offers accommodations for up to 4,000. Its unique downtown location and 360-degree views from the flight deck make it a breathtaking setting for every occasion. The Midway offers two enclosed hangar bays, each approximately 17,000 square feet, as well as the flight deck, which spans more than 50,000 square feet.

When ASAE & The Center come to San Diego in August, their attendees will experience a fun-filled night aboard the Midway, where they’ll hold their Food & Wine Classic. Live music, great food and exquisite wine will combine to create a memorable evening that attendees won’t soon forget.
