Board of Directors
A nine-member board of directors, comprised of business and community leaders, establishes policy for the Corporation. The Mayor and City Council of San Diego appoint seven members and two non-voting members represent the Hotel-Motel Association and the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Cheryl Kendrick
Chair
Cheryl Kendrick is a marketing and community relations professional who most recently served as campaign director for the United Way of San Diego County where she was directly responsible for the non-profit organization’s annual fund-raising campaign. Committed to volunteer service at both the regional and national level, Ms. Kendrick is past chair of the California State Commission on the Status of Women and has served on the national boards of the National Conference for Community and Justice and the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Ms. Kendrick received her B.A. in French from the University of Connecticut.
Chris Cramer
Vice Chair
Chris Cramer is the CEO and co-founder of Karl Strauss Brewing Company. Mr. Cramer has more than 15 years of experience in the microbrewery field and operates four high-volume brewery restaurants in the San Diego area. He currently serves on the board of directors of several associations, including the San Diego Taxpayers Association, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and the state and local chapters of the California Restaurant Association. He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Stanford University.
Bob Nelson
Secretary/Treasurer
Bob Nelson is an advertising and public relations executive with 30 years of experience in government and communications. His company, Bob Nelson Associates, advises a diverse list of clients, including labor unions, non-profit social service agencies, and health care providers. Mr. Nelson currently serves on the San Diego City Public Utilities Advisory Commission, the San Diego County District Attorney Community Advisory Board, the board of directors of the San Diego LGBT Center and the Finance Committee of the Greater San Diego Business Association.
Kevin Tilden

Kevin Tilden
Kevin Tilden served as the board chair in 2006. He is the Director of External Affairs for American Water and is responsible for the organization's community and government relations, regulatory affairs, advertising and customer communications. Prior to joining American Water, Mr. Tilden managed a campaign for U.S. Congress, served as an External Affairs Manager for SBC/Pacific Bell, and worked for two leading California public affairs agencies. He has served on the board for five years and has also headed the board of San Diego Theaters Inc., a SDCCC subsidiary. Mr. Tilden holds a B.A. from the University of Washington and a MBA from Pepperdine University.

Cheryl Fisher
Attorney Cheryl Fisher holds degrees from San Diego State University and the University of San Diego School of Law. Her for-profit board leadership experience includes the Union Bank of CA Community Advisory Board and the San Diego Metropolitan Credit Union. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Opera, Girl Scouts, and serves as a Commissioner with the County of San Diego.  
Bryan Min
Bryan Min is President and CEO of Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc., which he founded in 1998. Under his leadership, the company has grown to over 450 employees and thirteen locations nationwide. He has been recognized by the Los Angeles Korean American Chamber of Commerce as the 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year and received a Certificate of Congressional Commendation from the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2003, he received a Leadership Award from the Asian Business Association and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst Young in the Defense Business Category. He's earned two engineering degrees, a bachelors and masters, from the University of Southern California and Virginia Polytechnic and State University, respectively. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School's OPM Program.

Alexis Gutierrez
Alexis Gutierrez is a business lawyer and partner in the law firm of Higgs, Fletcher & Mack LLP. He advises and litigates on behalf of companies and their boards in both state and federal courts on issues involving business, labor, employment and intellectual property. Mr. Gutierrez also has considerable non- and for-profit board experience as legal counsel and member. He presently serves on the boards of the American Red Cross San Diego-Imperial Counties Chapter and Accion - San Diego and as legal counsel to non-profits Noah Homes, Inc. and the North County Humane Society. Mr. Gutierrez holds degrees from California State Polytechnic University and the University of San Diego School of Law.

Victoria Hobbs

Victoria Hobbs is the president of Corporate Developers of America, which provides business and management consulting and training to private corporations and non-profit organizations. She currently serves on several boards, including the San Diego Workforce Partnership and the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ms. Hobbs has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a juris doctorate.

Robert Rauch

San Diego Hotel - Motel Association
Robert Rauch is general manager/partner with Del Mar Hotels, Inc., the parent company of Homewood Suites by Hilton Del Mar and Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Del Mar.  Mr. Rauch currently serves as chairman of the San Diego Hotel and Motel Association board of directors and vice chairman of the San Diego North Convention & Visitors Bureau. He received the 2004 Allied Member of the Year award from the San Diego County Hotel and Motel Association in 2004. Mr. Rauch has a master’s degree in tourism administration from Arizona State University and is a faculty member at San Diego State University.

President & CEO
Carol Wallace is responsible for the overall management of the San Diego Convention Center Corporation. She is the past president of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) and currently holds board positions for the International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM), the San Diego Hotel-Motel Association and the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ms. Wallace is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
